Joaquim Matinero, of counsel in the area of Blockchain, digital assets and Web3, has participated in the webinar on the digitization of Justice organized by Global LegalTech Hub. In this meeting he has discussed with other professionals what are the causes that slow down the digital transformation, as echoed by Diario La Ley.
Our professional highlighted the importance of data and the value they have now: "10 years ago almost nobody talked about data, "they were given away", while today for the company the data is worth more than the purchase made by the customer". And he adds that "data opens up the possibility of mediation and of avoiding the generation of resources, delays and waste of time and effort".
And on the slow pace of digitization in the Administration, he adds: "there is probably a lack of investment, but we should also analyze those tools that are no longer used, that are obsolete, and thus contribute to more and more people trusting their incorporation into the Administration of Justice".
At the meeting, our lawyer debated these and other issues together with Carlos Fernández Hernández, Editor-in-Chief of LA LEY and Miguel Bueno Benedí, Lawyer of the Administration of Justice and Doctor in Law and Society, with the moderation of Sonia Alonso Esperanza, Operations Director of Proinvest Sandic, S.L.
